A developer is required to work on a new project called vSRM (stands for Site Recovery Manager). Web-based, written on Java. The product will provide customers with ability to protect their virtual and physical machines by choosing one of the protection methods: backup, replication, or conversion of physical machines to virtual machines. The product will allow customers to create recovery plans according to which workloads can be moved in a single click from the protected site to the recovery site. The product will also provide ability to seamlessly test the recovery plans with a single click.
Job Requirements:
- Strong English communication skills - both written and verbal
- Java SE 1.5 (1.6)
- jUnit
- Ant (and/or Maven)
- Tomcat
- Spring 2, Web applications, Servlets, JSP
- XML, XSD
- Hibernate 3/JPA, JDBC, SQL
- J2SE/J2EE Design Patterns
- JMX
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Ideally candidate should have additional experience with:
- J2EE: EJB 3, Application servers (JBoss, GlassFish), JTA, etc. SOA, Web Services
- RIA frameworks (GWT, Flex etc)
- JMS
